As part of continuing efforts to improve operations, ALF founder Mark Weingard today announced the appointment of former software industry executive Kurt Heck as Managing Director.  Most recently Kurt had been working as a consultant to NGOs in Thailand, one of which was ALF.  A new Board of Directors was formed as well, consisting of; Mark Weingard (Chairman), Kurt Heck, Phil Bergman, Julian Cohen, David Magson, Liz Linden, Stephen Bruce and Matthew Thorpe.

Stephen and Matthew serve on the Board as representatives of Reset Pte. Ltd which is a significant funder of ALF through its annual Charity Day fundraiser.  All fees generated by the firm on this day are donated to ALF.
