Annika Linden was a beautiful and spirited woman. She loved and lived, and the people that knew her were touched by her warm, positive and outgoing nature.
She died in the Bali bombing on 12 October, 2002 along with 201 other innocents.
The Annika Linden Foundation was established as a tribute to their lives in the belief that positive action is the only way to counter the negative impact of this event.
Mission Statement
The Annika Linden Foundation is committed to supporting community-based health and education projects that promote the long-term self-empowerment of the the disadvantaged in South East Asia.
Guiding Principles & Aims
Projects should have long-term objectives and will usually be education, support or care-based
Projects should target specific outcomes and aim to impact to as many lives as possible
Funding preference will be given to projects that receive minimal or no support from other sources
Projects should aim to empower individuals to achieve their highest potential
